Our verdict

The Peugeot 2008 is the raised version of the 208, on the same Stellantis CMP platform. The second generation (2019+, facelifted late 2023) has established itself as one of the best B-SUVs in the European market — won European Car of the Year 2020. In Morocco, distributed by Centrale Peugeot Maroc, it starts at 269,000 MAD for the Allure PureTech 130 EAT8 and rises to 339,000 MAD for the GT.

Mechanically: PureTech 130 engine (1.2 turbo petrol, 130 hp, 8-speed EAT8 gearbox) — no diesel or hybrid alternative in 2026 for the combustion 2008. The fully-electric e-2008 version (156 hp, 406 km WLTP) is sold separately at around 369,000 MAD. No AWD in the catalog.

The 2008 carries the 208's strong stylistic language: triple-claw lighting signature, black grille with chromed diamonds, compact i-Cockpit steering wheel and 3D digital cluster. It offers a 434 L boot (bigger than the 208), 18 cm of ground clearance (useful for Moroccan secondary roads) and solid resale value. Stellantis network of 50+ points covering the whole country.

How we calculate

The most accurate used-car estimator in Morocco. Our prices are calibrated on the real Moroccan market: official dealer prices, resale ranges observed on the leading second-hand platforms, brand-by-brand resilience (Toyota, Renault and Dacia hold their value better; German premium drops faster after year 4; Chinese newcomers depreciate faster), a progressive mileage penalty and segment-level variance. Methodology continuously updated.

Frequently asked

What is the price of the Peugeot 2008 in Morocco?
The Peugeot 2008 starts at 269,000 MAD for the Allure PureTech 130 EAT8 and rises to 339,000 MAD for the GT. The electric e-2008 is sold separately at around 369,000 MAD (Centrale Peugeot Maroc 2026 prices).
What is the difference between the 208 and the 2008?
Same CMP platform, same engines, same interiors. Differences: the 2008 is 8 cm taller (18 cm ground clearance), 4.30 m long (vs 4.06 m for the 208), 434 L boot (vs 311 L). The 2008 is positioned as an "urban crossover" with SUV stance; the 208 remains a pure supermini.
Is the 2008 available as a 4x4?
No, the 2008 is not sold with all-wheel drive in Morocco. Its 18 cm ground clearance still lets it tackle secondary roads without difficulty.
