This expansion responds to India's rapid automotive growth—it's now the world's third-largest car market by volume. The Bidkin facility will serve India's domestic market while also exporting to the broader Asia-Pacific region.
A Fully Self-Contained Factory
The Bidkin site will be a complete manufacturing hub, handling every stage of automotive production:
- Stamping and body panel shaping
- Welding and structural assembly
- Paint and surface treatment
- Final vehicle assembly
This vertical integration ensures total autonomy and cost efficiency. Annual production capacity will reach 100,000 units, making Bidkin a major player in India's automotive landscape.
2,800 Direct Jobs Plus Ripple Effects
At launch, the plant will employ approximately 2,800 workers in direct manufacturing roles. This investment will generate substantial indirect employment: local suppliers, component manufacturers, and support services will all benefit from the expansion.
