Our verdict
The Kia Sportage is, without immediate competitor in Kia's catalog, the brand's absolute Moroccan best-seller. The fifth generation (NQ5, 2021+, facelifted 2024) sits on the Hyundai-Kia Group's N3 platform — the same as the Hyundai Tucson, with which it shares almost all the mechanics. Distributed by GBH Motors, the Sportage starts at 339,000 MAD for the Pulse 1.6 T-GDi trim and rises to 449,000 MAD for the GT-Line HEV.
The differentiation from the Tucson is mainly stylistic: the Sportage adopts a more angular Opposites United design, black diamond-pattern grille, boomerang lighting signature. Inside, two 12.3" curved screens in panoramic mode, leather / suede upholstery on the GT-Line. The Moroccan catalog: 1.6 T-GDi petrol (180 hp, 7DCT) and HEV full-hybrid (230 combined hp, 5.8 L / 100 km). No diesel or PHEV in 2026.
The decisive argument vs the Tucson: a 7-year / 150,000 km commercial warranty — 2 more years than Hyundai. Over 7 years, that's typically 8,000-12,000 MAD saved on covered repairs. GBH Motors network of around 30 points.

How we calculate
The most accurate used-car estimator in Morocco. Our prices are calibrated on the real Moroccan market: official dealer prices, resale ranges observed on the leading second-hand platforms, brand-by-brand resilience (Toyota, Renault and Dacia hold their value better; German premium drops faster after year 4; Chinese newcomers depreciate faster), a progressive mileage penalty and segment-level variance. Methodology continuously updated.
