Pros
- Full APRC pack (6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, ATC, AWC) — unmatched by MT-07 / Z650 rivals
- 95 hp / 183 kg dry — best power-to-weight in the naked middleweight segment
- Neutral road ergonomics + RS 660 performance — the ideal combo for mixed use
- Brembo M4.32 radial brakes + Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres — supersport spec
- A2-restrictable option for fresh A2 licence (official Aprilia kit)
Watch out for
- Piaggio Maroc network limited to 3 dealers (Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech)
- Italian servicing more expensive than a Japanese equivalent (valve clearances every 20,000 km)
- Limited wind protection — not ideal for long highway trips
- Aprilia MA resale value to be confirmed — market too small for a reliable benchmark
Our verdict
The Aprilia Tuono 660 2026 is the sport-naked derivative of the RS 660 platform — same 659cc parallel-twin engine 270°-timed, same twin-spar aluminium chassis, same full APRC electronics pack, but with ergonomics rethought for daily road use: wide and raised handlebar (upright stance, shoulders relaxed), slightly forward and lowered footpegs, more welcoming 820 mm seat, short fairing reduced to a fork-top nose protecting chest and instruments. This is the classic Italian sport-naked principle — the mechanical performance of a supersport, without the postural constraint of low clip-ons and rearset pegs.
The engine is the same 659cc twin as the RS 660, recalibrated for road use: power reduced to 95 hp at 10,500 rpm (vs 100 hp on the RS 660), torque maintained at 67 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The engine map prioritises mid-range availability (3,500-7,500 rpm, the useful road range) rather than the racing peak of the RS. 6-speed manual gearbox, slipper clutch standard, bidirectional AQS quickshifter optional (+3,500 MAD, strongly recommended on this bike that plays the sporting side). Full APRC pack identical to the RS 660: 6-axis IMU, multi-map cornering ABS, 3-level ATC traction control, 3-level AWC wheelie control, five riding modes (Commute, Dynamic, Individual, Challenge, Time Attack), electronic cruise control. No compromise vs the RS 660 on electronics — this is a crucial point.
Chassis, brakes and wheels are strictly identical to the RS 660: aluminium frame (twin-spar), Kayaba 41 mm USD adjustable fork, adjustable mono-shock, Brembo M4.32 radial + dual 320 mm disc brakes, 17" wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres (120/70 front, 180/55 rear). 183 kg dry weight — extraordinarily light for a naked in this category (a Yamaha MT-07 is 184 kg, a Kawasaki Z650 is 191 kg, but none of them offers the APRC electronics pack).
At 114,900 MAD (124,900 MAD in Factory pack with quickshifter, engine guard, Aprilia Black paint), the Tuono 660 sits above the Yamaha MT-07 (79,000 MAD at Premium Motors, 689cc CP2 twin 73 hp, no modern electronics), above the Kawasaki Z650 (85,000 MAD at Sanam Moto, 649cc twin 68 hp, basic ABS), and slightly above the Triumph Trident 660 (109,000 MAD at Adam Auto, 660cc triple 80 hp, no IMU but basic riding modes). Against the Yamaha MT-09 (134,000 MAD at Premium Motors, 890cc triple 119 hp), the Tuono 660 is 20k MAD cheaper but offers 24 fewer horses — the gap plays out on electronics (APRC 6-axis IMU vs MT-09 also IMU-equipped) and on Italian racing prestige vs Japanese volume.
Clear positioning: the most electronically equipped middleweight sport-naked on the Moroccan market, for an enthusiast who wants mechanical performance and racing electronics without the postural constraints of a pure supersport. Ideal target: 80% road + 20% occasional track rider, Casa-Rabat urban who values an upright stance for dense traffic but pushes the bike at weekends on open roads. 15-litre tank and 4.8 L/100 km consumption give 300+ km range. A2 restriction available on order (official Aprilia kit at 47.5 kW), 4-6 week lead time, 2,500-3,500 MAD extra. Verdict: between RS 660 and Tuono 660 for 90% road use outside the track, the Tuono is the rational choice — same mechanical performance, same electronics, infinitely more liveable ergonomics day-to-day, marginal price difference (5,000 MAD). The Tuono 660 is probably the Aprilia bike best suited to the Moroccan market — for an informed enthusiast, it deserves to be considered ahead of Japanese volume alternatives.

What's your used Aprilia Tuono 660 worth?
Median and indicative range by year and mileage. Open methodology, refreshed continuously.
How we calculate
The most accurate used-car estimator in Morocco. Every estimate blends three signals: (1) official new-car prices published by Moroccan importers (source: our verified model fiches), (2) real listings posted by actual private and professional sellers across the main Moroccan used-car marketplaces for the same brand + model + year (±2 years), and (3) brand-specific depreciation curves calibrated on the Moroccan market (Toyota, Renault and Dacia hold value better; German premium drops faster after year 4; Chinese newcomers depreciate faster). We also apply a −5 to −10 % adjustment to convert asking-price into real transaction price (typical Moroccan negotiation margin). The calculation is regenerated on every new observation; models with at least 3 recent listings are flagged "Observed data" in the result. The (model, year, mileage) cache is refreshed every 30 days or when the new-car price shifts by more than 5 %.
