Pros

  • 100% Panigale aluminium monocoque chassis (identical to V4)
  • 175 kg dry — lightest in the Panigale lineup
  • Complete Race-Ready electronic suite (TC EVO 2 + Cornering ABS + Quickshifter EVO 2)
  • Radial Brembo Stylema — Superbike-reference caliper
  • New 890cc V-twin engine, 12,000 rpm redline — pure character

Watch out for

  • Extreme sport riding position — tiring for daily use
  • Not A2-compatible — 47.5 hp restriction loses all the 12,000 rpm magic
  • Desmodromic oil change ~2,800 MAD at Sopriam (more expensive service)

Our verdict

The Ducati Panigale V2 2026 (all-new 2025 generation — V-twin 890cc engine replacing the previous gen's 955cc Superquadro, aluminium monocoque chassis inherited from the Panigale V4) is Ducati's entry-level supersport. V-twin 90° 890cc Desmodromic engine 120 hp / 93 Nm (revving to 11,000 rpm, redline 12,000 rpm — highest-revving Ducati V-twin ever produced), aluminium monocoque identical to Panigale V4 (difference: engine), adjustable Showa BPF + Sachs suspensions, dual 320 mm front disc + radial Brembo Stylema 4-piston monobloc calipers, Ducati Race-Ready electronic suite (TC EVO 2 + ABS Cornering EVO + Quickshifter EVO 2 + Wheelie Control + 4 ride modes: Race / Sport / Road / Wet), 5" connected TFT.

At 219,900 MAD at Sopriam, the Panigale V2 takes on the Aprilia RS 660 (~129k MAD, 100 hp much cheaper but pure middleweight segment), Yamaha YZF-R6 (out of MA catalogue since 2020 — R7 89.9k MAD takes the place but it's a basic middleweight), Triumph Daytona 660 (~155k MAD, 95 hp entry supersport). The Panigale V2 is positioned as the supersport-supersport — technically halfway between Aprilia RS 660 (entry supersport) and Panigale V4 (litre supersport, 549k+ MAD), with 100% Panigale geometry (seat, chassis, design) and a new-cylinder 890cc V-twin engine. For the track rider who wants the Panigale experience without paying the V4 ticket nor accepting the V4's 195 kg, it's the only choice in Morocco.

Morocco price benchmark

What's your used Ducati Panigale V2 worth?

Median and indicative range by year and mileage. Open methodology, refreshed continuously.

How we calculate

The most accurate used-car estimator in Morocco. Every estimate blends three signals: (1) official new-car prices published by Moroccan importers (source: our verified model fiches), (2) real listings posted by actual private and professional sellers across the main Moroccan used-car marketplaces for the same brand + model + year (±2 years), and (3) brand-specific depreciation curves calibrated on the Moroccan market (Toyota, Renault and Dacia hold value better; German premium drops faster after year 4; Chinese newcomers depreciate faster). We also apply a −5 to −10 % adjustment to convert asking-price into real transaction price (typical Moroccan negotiation margin). The calculation is regenerated on every new observation; models with at least 3 recent listings are flagged "Observed data" in the result. The (model, year, mileage) cache is refreshed every 30 days or when the new-car price shifts by more than 5 %.

Frequently asked

Panigale V2 or Yamaha R7 — which for the track?
Impossible match — not the same segment. The R7 (99.9k MAD, 73 hp, 188 kg) is an A2 entry middleweight, fun but not really track-focused. The Panigale V2 (219.9k MAD, 120 hp, 175 kg) is a serious Race-Ready supersport with Panigale chassis geometry, race electronics, Brembo Stylema brakes. The Panigale V2 laps Marrakech circuit ~2-3 seconds faster than an R7. Verdict: R7 for the beginner wanting a taste of sport on road; Panigale V2 for the track rider wanting maximum circuit with a budget < 250k MAD.
Is the Panigale V2 usable daily?
Limited. Very radical riding position (very low clip-ons, rearset and high pegs), firm seat, Desmodromic engine warm-up 5-7 minutes before exploitation. >30 km straight-road trip = neck and lower-back discomfort. For daily commute, prefer the Monster 937 (same Ducati spirit, comfortable naked position). The Panigale V2 is an occasional-track or weekend-road bike, not a commuter.
How long does a Panigale V2 Desmodromic engine last?
Long if maintained. The Panigale's slower-revving V-twin (vs more complex V4) is designed for 80,000-100,000 km useful life in road mode. Intensive track mode: 30,000-40,000 km before engine overhaul (vs 50,000+ for MT-09 or CBR1000RR). Desmodromic adjustment mandatory every 24,000 km at ~3,800 MAD at Sopriam. Oil change every 12,000 km. Total service cost over 60,000 km: ~22,000 MAD — comparable to a BMW S 1000 RR but significantly more expensive than an R7 (~12,000 MAD).
