Following the success of the Enyaq and Elroq, Skoda expands its electric lineup with the Epiq, an urban crossover designed for Moroccan drivers seeking practicality and energy efficiency.

Compact dimensions, optimized space

At 4.18 metres long — 31 cm shorter than the Elroq — the Epiq doesn't compromise on interior space. Its boot offers 475 litres (including the sub-boot), outclassing some direct rivals: the Peugeot e-2008 provides only 434 litres despite measuring 4.31 m. In the rear, two adults will fit comfortably, staying true to Skoda's tradition of generous cabin space.

A practical touch: a protective bag clipped to the rear seat anchors makes it easy to store a charging cable — a smart solution for urban trips across Morocco.

Three variants for every budget

The Epiq 35 (116 hp) and Epiq 40 (135 hp) come with an LFP battery pack of 38.5 kWh offering 315 km maximum range. Fast DC charging reaches 50 kW (Epiq 35) or 90 kW (Epiq 40), enabling 10-80% recharge in roughly 28 minutes.

The top-spec Epiq 55 (211 hp) features an NMC battery of 55 kWh for 430 km range. Its motor accelerates 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, while DC charging reaches 125 kW (23 minutes 10-80% under optimal conditions).

All models support 11 kW AC charging.

Technology and driving aids

The Epiq relies on a 13-inch central touchscreen as standard for infotainment and a 5.3-inch instrument cluster. The real value lies in the Travel Assist 3.0 system: this semi-autonomous function combines improved lane-keeping, traffic light and road sign recognition, and can even enforce stops at STOP signs.

Four panoramic cameras and integrated radars assist maneuvering in tight city spaces — particularly useful for Moroccan drivers navigating medina streets or cramped car parks.

Pricing strategy

Skoda positions the Epiq as the entry point to its electric range, with announced pricing comparable to the petrol-powered Kamiq in Europe. This signals aggressive competition against French rivals.

Aerodynamic efficiency

With a drag coefficient of 0.275, the Epiq benefits from efficient design that reduces energy consumption — an asset for long-distance trips between Moroccan cities.

Given the Elroq's success (second best-selling EV in Europe) and the Enyaq's strength (fifth place), Skoda is signalling clear ambitions: equipping Morocco and the region with reliable, accessible electric vehicles.
