Aggressive Entry Price for the Cupra Raval

Cupra finally details its pricing strategy for the Raval, its electric city car designed to strengthen its position within the Volkswagen Group. The base model kicks off at €25,995, a compelling proposition in the compact EV segment.

Competitive Standing

At this price, you get a 116 hp motor and approximately 300 km of range. This tariff sits below its direct rivals:

  • Renault 5 (120 hp / 312 km): €28,490
  • Peugeot E-208 (136 hp / 363 km): €28,400
  • Renault 4 (120 hp / 308 km): €29,990
  • Skoda Epiq (116 hp / 316 km): €26,470

Notably, the Raval undercuts the Skoda Epiq despite sharing the same technical platform.

Refreshed Lineup

Cupra has already overhauled its initial launch range. The Endurance trim now forms the second tier at €36,100. It comes standard with wireless Full Link connectivity, a 12.9-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, steering wheel paddles, LED headlights with Cupra signature lighting, and a comprehensive driver assistance suite. This version runs a 211 hp motor and 52 kWh battery delivering 446 km of certified range.

The top-tier VZ sits at €42,000 and adds Matrix LED headlights, dynamic light projections on the doors, 19-inch alloy wheels, and the Edge Pack (digital key, dual-zone climate control, rear camera, Vehicle-to-Load functionality). It produces 226 hp and achieves 440 km of range.

Limited-Edition Avnier

The limited Avnier series (420 units only) remains in the lineup at €40,460. While priced higher, it doesn't crown the range but stands out with unique personalization elements.

What You Need to Know

At press time, Cupra has not disclosed the full equipment roster for the base model—details will arrive in July when sales begin. The Raval qualifies for EU EV incentives up to €5,170, enhancing its appeal for cost-conscious buyers monitoring total cost of ownership.
