Haval is the SUV-only brand of Chinese group Great Wall Motors, spun off as an independent entity in 2013 after a decade as a successful sub-brand. Today the top-selling SUV manufacturer in the Chinese market with more than 700,000 units sold annually, Haval landed in Morocco through SODICOM (a subsidiary of the CFAO Motors group), which operates a growing network of ten to fifteen sales points, mainly in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir and Fes. The Moroccan positioning rests on a clear bet: offer a level of equipment (large screens, premium synthetic upholstery, full ADAS, hybrid powertrains) that European rivals only reach in their top trims, at a price that stays 15 to 25 % below a Tucson, Sportage or Tiguan at comparable spec. The 7-year or 150,000 km commercial warranty — the longest on the Moroccan market for a passenger car — serves as a frontline argument to reassure buyers about the brand's newness. The range is deliberately SUV-only: Jolion (urban), H6 (global best-seller), Dargo (adventure) and H9 (large body-on-frame 4x4).
