About SEAT
Founded in 1950 in Barcelona, SEAT (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo) has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1986 and constitutes, alongside Škoda, the 'value' wing of the German conglomerate. In Morocco, the brand is distributed by Centrale Automobile Chérifienne (CAC) — which also handles Volkswagen distribution — through a dedicated network in the major cities (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Fes, Agadir). SEAT shares Volkswagen's full technical-platform stack (MQB for Ibiza/Leon/Ateca, MLB Evo for Tarraco) but with a younger, sportier design language and entry prices 5-8% lower than VW at comparable equipment.
