About DS Automobiles

DS Automobiles is a French premium brand launched in 2014, heir to the prestigious Citroën DS name (1955-1975) — the sedan that defined an era of French automotive history. Initially a Citroën sub-brand, DS became standalone in 2014 then joined Stellantis during the FCA-PSA merger in 2021. Its editorial stance: offer a French alternative to the BMW-Mercedes-Audi German triumvirate, with a clear bet on interior design (premium materials: Nappa leather, Alcantara, Watchstrap wood, *clous de Paris* finishes) and on hybrid/PHEV/electric powertrains (the entire lineup is electrified). In Morocco, the brand is distributed by Sopriam — which also handles Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and Škoda — through a dedicated *DS Salon* network in Casablanca (Avenue Hassan II) and Rabat. The Moroccan lineup spans the DS 3 Crossback (B-segment urban SUV, fully-electric E-Tense version available), the DS 4 (C-segment compact in a raised-sedan silhouette), the DS 7 Crossback (D-segment family SUV, flagship, PHEV E-Tense 4x4 up to 300 hp), and the DS 9 (E-segment full-size sedan). DS rides on Stellantis technical platforms (CMP, EMP2, STLA Medium) but invests particular care into UI/UX integration and acoustic isolation. Moroccan volume is modest but the customer base is targeted (senior executives, decision-makers). Pricing: from around 380,000 MAD for a DS 3 Crossback, over 700,000 for a top-spec DS 7 PHEV.
