Our methodology for Mazda

For every Mazda model, we start from the official new price published by the Moroccan importer, then apply a depreciation curve calibrated against the European and Moroccan markets — 80% at 1 year, 70% at 2 years, 62% at 3 years, down to 22% at 10 years. The result is then adjusted by declared mileage (progressive penalty per 10,000 km band).

We show the median (price expected on a standard-condition vehicle) and the p25–p75 range: p25 = what a buyer would pay on a high-mileage or average-condition vehicle, p75 = what we see on first-owner vehicles with a complete service history. You get an honest range, not a single number you could overpay or undersell on.

Mazda on the Moroccan used-car market

Mazda (Hiroshima, 1920) is the 5th-largest Japanese maker and the only one to have mass-produced the Wankel rotary engine (RX-7, RX-8, MX-30 R-EV). Since 2010 the brand has positioned itself as the premium alternative within mainstream Japanese — expressive Kodo design, SkyActiv tech (high compression + manual gearboxes), focus on driving pleasure. In Morocco, Mazda is distributed by Auto Hall Mazda — same group as Mercedes-Benz Maroc and MG — through around ten dealerships in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir, Fes, Meknes. The 2026 MA lineup spans four models: CX-3 (B-SUV, the most accessible), CX-30 (slightly upmarket B-SUV, Kodo design affirmed), CX-5 (family C-SUV, Mazda's global best-seller), and the MX-5 (2-seat roadster, over 1.2 million units produced since 1989, Mazda's living legend). Mazda stands out for its SkyActiv 6-speed manual — the most precise on the Japanese market — and steering with sporty feel. The brand remains loyal to NA gasoline engines + 24V mild-hybrid (no Toyota-style full hybrid, no PHEV in the 2026 MA catalogue).
